Over the course of the last few decades, guns and gun violence have become an undeniable reality of life in the United States. But what do you know about the details of the gun crisis that faces the United States at present? How have the courts interpreted the 2nd Amendment? What drives attitudes about gun control -- and why is it so hard for people with different views about guns to find common ground? What role do groups like the National Rifle Association play in public discourse and the legislative process? What do technological developments like 3D printable guns and "Smart Guns" mean for the future? Come join the students of the Guns, Culture, and Policy class for a presentation that will discuss all these questions and more.
